‘There ain’t no joy like a nint’ wawd boy.’ Christian Champagne will be reading from his book of poems “Roach Opera” at St John’s Coffeehouse in the Limbo Room. He will be a part of the monthly, second Sunday, poetry reading series, “Power to the Poetry”. The book will be available for purchase.

“Cirque de Dogris” will be at Fair Grinds Coffeehouse Saturday, June 9, 2007 - 8:00 PM .
“Cirque de Dosgris” is a satirical romp through the political landscape of post-Katrina New Orleans, featuring a look at the “axis of dweebil”: Nagin, Blanco, Broussard, and Bush, plus everything from national politics to a recap of the New Orleans mayoral race and a survey of the Corps of Engineers. The one-man show is written and performed by Christian Champagne.
